    What Tittle??

Relatively new owner here. Purchased in February. Completing the FAA's Aircraft Registration Application. At the bottom I sign, date, and print my name. Last box is asking for title. What title are they referring too? Mr./Mrs., owner/operator, Duke of Aviation, or...? Thanks in advance.

    Tail Beacon Operational Flight Evaluation

I believe I accounted for that. I'm in California, so I added 8 hours, which put me in to the following day since I was flying at 1700 local time.

    Tail Beacon Operational Flight Evaluation

Don't have an ADS-B in device. All ground testing was done, according to the mechanic that installed the unit. Never thought about asking another pilot that has ADS-B in to see if the signal is visible. Great idea! Thanks.

    Tail Beacon Operational Flight Evaluation

Check. Going up again later this week. I guess the easiest way to see if they are receiving an ADS-B signal is to simply ask!

    Tail Beacon Operational Flight Evaluation

Yes, had a unique squad code. I had flight following. I guess what I need to know is, should I be concerned about a negative result from the evaluation flight? If the ADS-B signal was not working, would ATC have let me fly over the charlie air space?

    Tail Beacon Operational Flight Evaluation

I should have said the email I received from the FAA said the request didn't generate a result. I received a response from the FAA, it just appears that my evaluation flight didn't generate a result.

    Tail Beacon Operational Flight Evaluation

I recently took possession of a plane that had not been used for 5 years. Had a uAvionox tailBeacon installed to comply with the ADS-B mandate. Performed a flight this afternoon according to the requirements on the uAvionix web site regarding the operational flight evaluation. Submitted a...

I need an IPC!! Norcal area

I had been out of flying for 15 plus years. A friend recommended Scott Miller at CFI at Ksac. I did about 6 hours of ground and about the same in the air to get my flight review completed. I was very happy with Scott. He is a Sacramento native, and seemed very flexible.

    Saitek Controls for Mac

So I finally receive my yoke, throttle and rudder controls. I go to the Saitek site to download the drivers as it says in the instructions, and there are no drivers for a Mac. Are the controls compatible with a Mac? Did I misread when I ordered the X Plane/ Saitek package from My Pilot Store...

    Unleaded avgas

I learned to fly in my dad's 1956 C172, with an O300, STCed for mogas. We had valve guide problems for 2 or 3 annuals. Went back to 80 octane (RIP), and no more guide problems. Maybe the older engines need the lead more than the newer versions.

This is why GA gets a bad rap...

I wonder if he saw the power lines that he was flying near. Hitting those would ruin their day.
