Get some friends to buy your book (even if you have to bribe them ;)), get them to write a review, you are good to go. :goofy:

    Ebook Publishing

Yes, I understand. I did publish one book with them but have not had the time to do any real marketing since then.... (long story.. started a company..etc). I really can't say anything bad, but I also cannot say anything good because I simply didn't have the time to deal with it. I was more...

What do you mean by better? Not trying to be sarcastic, just want to know what shortcomings you want to avoid.

    Reno Air Races 2015

The races are a lot of fun. The Unlimited planes are amazing to see and also hear. There is also a lot of airshow stuff going on between races, so you don't get bored. I have a really cool video of a B-25 starting up with the Breitling Jet team flying by in the background. I'll put that up soon.

    C5 Galaxy

Love to walk around in them whenever I see them at airshows. My boss was a C-5 pilot many years back and had some great stories.

are these aopa fly ins worth the headache?

I went to the one in Salinas CA and thoroughly enjoyed it. Rod Machado's session was a real hoot, and Marc Baker did a good job as well

    F-15 VFR at 5500

Waiting for an airshow to end at KLVK years back tower advised me that I should hold at Altamont Pass and be aware that there was a MIG-19 circling 1000 ft above me. Cocked a wing up and sure enough there he was banking into a wide turn.

    San Francisco area flying

Tradewinds at KRHV has a fantastic selection of newer C-172s and a great training staff. I think they are also on OpenAirplane. Definitely recommend. It's where I fly out of until I can park one of my own on the ramp.

    What headset do you use?

Thanks for all of the comments. I had a hard time choosing between Bose, David Clark, and others, but the Lightspeed $100 off sale sealed the deal and I picked up a PFX. Went flying with it for the first time today and was blown away by how quiet they were.

    What headset do you use?

 That's exactly what I have been using as well, thought I should upgrade.

    What headset do you use?

I'm fairly new here so I am sure this has been discussed before, but I'm curious what other pilots are using. I am back to flying after 15 years and very excited to be back in the air. I am thinking about getting a Lightspeed PFX.

Hangar situation in Cupertino CA area

Bruce's covers are the best I found. I owned a 1985 Piper Archer back in the day and had a set that worked really well.

Hangar situation in Cupertino CA area

Some places have been advertising themselves as "tax free zones", California is the exact opposite. I am on the hangar list for KLVK, but I'm not holding out much hope :(
