    "You found no water, what do you do with the fuel you just removed?" If no particulate is in the fuel I return it to the tanks. If there is water or particulate I discard. Be aware that some states are not good with the later.

    The Husky takes off in 300 feet so only time for OP and seat of the pants. In the Mirage I look at runway position.. at least 60KTS at 1000 ft. at gross + MP42 + Turbo feel + OP + Temps. Abort right after 1000 ft if not making speed and seeing/feeling turbo power.

    Any experience with Kinston, NC (KISO)?

    I did 10 night landings there for my commercial. I was doing stop and goes in my 182 while a C130 from one of the nearby bases was doing touch and goes. The size of the runway is huge. I do not know why they still have a tower there given the volume.
