Sold. :)

I'm selling my Garmin 496 (includes everything it originally came with). It is about 1 year old, has been used for about 100 hours, and is in perfect condition. My plane partner and I will be sharing one between us, rather than each having one. I will be posting an eBay auction in the next day...

Aren't we suppose to support the procurement of new gadgets irrespective of cost? :) If I wanted to be practical, I could talk with my wife. :D

I had the original Moto Q and noticed if the battery ran all the way down....it died. Yup, died. Even after recharging, it would get hung at the splash screen and there was no way to perform a hard reset according to Motorola. Since then I've been carrying around that monster Palm Treo 700P...

That's definitely unusual, since we Michiganders typically live under a perpetual AIRMET for icing from July 5th through July 3rd--July 4th rocks however.....although it's road construction season. ;)

Thanks, Brook. We're taking baby steps. ;) She flew the Baron twice for about 10 minutes total and has now started tuning the radio when we are handed off to another controller. That ain't no small thing for her. :) Thanks, Jeremy.

Thanks, Jim. I have spent many years brainwashing them in this whole flying thing. :D They actually say they want to be pilots one day.....go figure. ;) (My master plan is unfolding. ;)) Heck, this trip even resulted in three new people at the controls (sister, brother-in-law, and wife!) and...

The best hybrid of this model is to be sure the partner/principal uses the cheaper associate for the majority of the work, but 'reviews' the work to ensure its accuracy/appropriateness/goals.
