Great article on how Boeing has failed

and musk decided to rush their rocket and launch on 4/20 for the lols...which blew up. I think a lot of high companies succeed despite him. Starliner launch

Did FLYING Magazine give away the airplanes or what?

Wow, the Astore sounds like a really nice aircraft https://www.aviationconsumer.com/aircraftreviews/tecnam-astore-an-lsa-but-barely/

Road Bump in Buying a Plane - No Place to Put It

It might be more helpful to go there in person and ask. An email is very easy to dismiss, but showing up in person shows more commitment. Especially if you have a plane that needs a spot asap.

Deltahawk update from S&F looks good!

Would you end up with a long-nosed 172 switching to the Rotax? I imagine its lighter than the Lycoming engines, and would need to be moved further forward to keep the CG the same.

the "not worthy of it's own thread" thread

I miss our boat for poking around the ocean when its calm and all the rivers and inlets around coastal NH, but I don't miss working on it. I also discovered that I suck as a saltwater fisherman.

    April solar eclipse

The air was so clear yesterday we could see Mt Washington easily from the Keene, NH area as we headed north.

    April solar eclipse

The car traffic headed north on rt91 in VT was insane stop and go in the morning, and looked like insane stop in go heading south right afterwards. My 172 might be slow, but I'm sure grateful to have it. What a cool day. Weather was perfect, headwind heading north but a great tailwind heading...

    April solar eclipse

Well worth it. Managed to find an airport in VT that was notamed closed without a reservation this morning since the airport I was going to fly to forgot I called. NBD, still very cool to be under the path. First time I've seen it completely blocked out. Now everyone scatter!

    I’m calling the peak

Personally, I like this trend of 172 prices being relatively stable while the prices of aircraft I'd like to get next decreasing. Thanks for gathering the data.

    My Glider Club Impressions...

This is the real answer. Hard to tell as a middle aged white guy reading the text. Hard to convey their tone of voice and facial expressions. So.. maybe? They probably aren't card carry KKK nazis, but might be casually racist without really thinking about it. Or it could a 1000 other different...

And large control inputs to get it to rotate at that speed. Wonder what canard aircraft was used as a chase plane.

Road Bump in Buying a Plane - No Place to Put It

That's better than boats and cars. At least its almost an airplane. There's a woodworking shop that uses two back to back hangar at the local airfield. I'd love to have one of them since its on slightly higher ground and doesn't get muddy in front like my current one does. But he's been there...

I did the 1800wxbrief check this morning, there were no GPS notams. Looking now again and I don't see any. 7B3, headed south only 15 miles or so before turning around
