I was wondering if anyone had a list of things to work on after getting your ppl? I just got my ppl and was thinking I should be learning or working on something as I start to fly on my own.

Many of the accidents I read or watch say the pilot had head injuries etc.. Seems maybe an integrated light weight helmet with headphones would be good. Do these exist? is it an option?

Seems like a motorcycle helmet would be a good idea to have in the event of a forced landing off field. Just leave it on the back seat till needed?

What if the cost of commercial flying went way up? If it cost you half as much to fly GA as compared to flying commercial I think that would make a huge impact on GA.

Yes but how long is the average pass out? I would assume that during cruise you could pass out and come back to before any unrecoverable situation occurs. During take off, assuming you are trimmed correctly wouldn't you continue to climb out until you came to, assuming you didn't pull the...
