    Coast-to-Coast Flight Training

Thanks so much for the input, no thanks for the cheek. I said what I said about my hours, sorry and I've owned my plane for 10 years now. Sorry if you don't have as many but I'd probably not try to cast doubt on a complete stranger's qualifications ... Have a great day!

    Coast-to-Coast Flight Training

I have nearly 1000hrs and this will be my 2nd time doing this. It will be a great experience, for sure. But I don't fly as a career or potential career.

    Coast-to-Coast Flight Training

Thanks for the reply, I've found a CFII. I didn't overlook a daily rate. The CFII gets to time build ~22hrs for free, essentially. That was payment enough for the CFII who took my offer.

    Coast-to-Coast Flight Training

I know this is a long shot but I'm looking for a CFII to help me regain proficiency and complete my IFR training while I move my plane from coast to coast. I'll cover all fuel and hotel costs (2 nights) and give the CFII a plane ticket back to the East coast. If there's any CFII interested...

    West Coast Engine Overhaul

Hey everybody. I'm trying to price out an engine overhaul (or factory new) for a Lycoming O-540-B4B5 engine in CA, NV, or AZ. Anyone know of a good shop, preferably in CA? I know lack of parts has a lot of overhauls backed up several months but I figured I'd start looking now.

    Aircraft Paint Scheme Design Software

Anyone know of a good aircraft paint scheme software that's useful and allows for multiple types of planes? I looked at the one for Sherwin Williams but the only single engine aircraft it allows for is a Bonanza, not a Cherokee or Cessna. What are shops using?

    MOGAS and Muffler Issues

Thanks for the info. I'm pretty sure at this point it must be the muffler itself.

    MOGAS and Muffler Issues

I would think so too, which leads me to believe that the likely issue is the muffler itself and not the MOGAS.

    MOGAS and Muffler Issues

That makes sense. Do you know of a type of muffler that works better with MOGAS?

    MOGAS and Muffler Issues

Good morning. Yes, the affected mufflers were the same brand. I mostly do x-country flying at ROP.

    MOGAS and Muffler Issues

I'm assuming you mean ethanol. Yes, there's an ethanol-free gas station near me. As far as your answer is concerned, yes, it's not what I'm trying to hear as my question is for people who have experienced this and how they were able to still use MOGAS and correct for the muffler issue. If I...

    MOGAS and Muffler Issues

I own a Cherokee 235 and have been buring MOGAS for the past 4-5 years. In that time I've had to have my muffler overhauled going on 3 times, each time costing me a few hundred dollars (not much when all things considered). I've had absolutely ZERO engine issues running MOGAS. This time my...
