    Mixture?.......Leaning?.......Whats that? ........J/K I would agree with Tony. As far as I can remember back in the day, there wasn't much difference between the three turns and the EGT methods. I think I preferd just doing the three turns.

    V1 is really only for Large transport catergory airplanes. And yes if you lose one on the ground but after V1 your still going.

    I would say always get it back down and get it looked at, and then count your blessing that you had two engines to bring it back around.

    Well from my many hours of icing experience I've had too many boots bridge the ice so I never pop the boots with less than 1/4. I prefer 1/2 inch to be confident its going to shed. As far as popping them on final. I've done it twice in my career and I'll never do it again unless I can't hold...
