Orlando Executive ILS approach to minimums

Good job, and good luck finishing up your IR. If you want to see some more IFR flying in the Cirrus, I put up a few on youtube. This was down to minimums and going missed then another low approach almost to minimums. IFR is fun stuff! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UBikkN_48i8

Can someone explain what the "Arrival" freq. is in Canada?

Thanks. I noticed the Arrival freq. was listed on the approach chart and kind of assumed that as well, but Foreflight also lists a seperate approach freq.,so I wasnt sure if one took priority over another?

Can someone explain what the "Arrival" freq. is in Canada?

I may be flying into CYMX this week and noticed a frequency called "Arrival". There is also an Approach freq. listed on Foreflight. Whats the deal?

Cool! I thought I recognized your voice in a video you posted here. I talked to you a few times on there back when I used it a couple years ago. Glad to hear it is still going.

Thanks! Share some videos. I love watching IFR flights. Happy to share! Thanks! Thank you. You did the PilotEdge thing right? I didnt learn on all this fancy stuff so I have experience both ways as well, however the situational awareness and available information makes it much...

IFR video to share. 3 approaches. 1 Missed & Diverted to Alternate.

For sure, the situational awareness is amazing. Track 1. FEDER - Goodbye / Warning has some explicit lyrics that I had to edit out on my video. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dMFJ27rq1Gs Track 2. Guitar del mar / all the other songs came from this great mix...

IFR video to share. 3 approaches. 1 Missed & Diverted to Alternate.

Great IFR day. Started my short trip to Lancaster PA and back with deteriorating weather. Departed KLNS with 500 OVC heading back to Garrett County MD 2G4 where the ceilings continued to drop, eventually down to less than 1/4 mist and 100 OVC. I had to go missed ofcourse. I stayed in the hold...

    Experiencing LPV approach failures

Do you have a "Spot tracking device" or anything similar? I also had this happen consistently and finally figured out it was from the "spot trace" unit. I now turn it off when flying Ifr.

How high can you fly a kitten?

Well, this thread took about as good a turn as my flight with the kitten I had planned. Was the diversion due to engine problems in hard IMC here as well?

How high can you fly a kitten?

I hope that thing isnt infested with fleas. :) , I was hoping to be above/at 14000' for a couple hours. Overflying lake erie and there is a chance I may need to get over some icing at some point along the way as well.

How high can you fly a kitten?

I am picking up a kitten saturday and would like to go higher around 14000' , would this be a health issue for a small kitten in an upressurized aircraft?

    NA - Military school

Praise the good behavior. Take them to church. Engage them in more activities. Throwing your kids in a room and trying to ignore them is not going to help. That was my parents approach growing up and it only escalated problems. They are just kids!

Down to the minimums....for real(little long)

Nice job. Just be cautious of the possibility of ice now that it is getting cold.

    Wind Minimums

My biggest concern is the gusts and wind sheer. At my home field we are at 3000' and the terrain around the airport makes for some intersting approaches even when the winds are only like 8kts. I'd say my biggest limitation is the gust factor. If its something like 20G24 I dont mind that. But...

    Lightspeed announcement 11/12

Just curious, why would anyone pay you to repair lightspeed headsets when you can mail them back and they will fix for free? I have had great support from lightspeed so far with my zulu.2 headset.
