Sea plane landings - who governs the water ?

In 1967, I landed my Super-Cub on "Spirit Lake," next to Mt St Helens. A USFS guy there gave me a "ticket!" On the way home I tossed it out the window, and to this day I am waiting for the cuffs.

Why has Vashon sold so few Rangers, and will MOSAIC turn that around?

    Flying car

I knew Molt Taylor......at the Longview Airport. As a young student pilot, I used to stop there. I flew Wally's T-Craft out of the now-long-gone Evergreen Airport in Vancouver. Molt was always a pleasure to talk with.

    Students are "Learners" now...........

...............And, evidently, this has been going on for a few years. Why does the FAA continue to change the name or acronym for something EVERY day it seems? There must be an office of "maintaining confusion" in the FAA. They sure are good at it!

    Crosswind landing no-flap taildragger

I don't get it. I flew all sorts of "taildraggers" all my life. What is the difference between a "side" slip and a "forward" slip? A slip is a slip!!

What do you use to deice your plane

It used to be a Part 135 rule that you could wipe the frost smooth and depart...........and we often did in the King Air. But I always factored in about 10 knots of extra speed before I left the ground. Later, they changed that rule.
