When I fly certain C172 G1000 planes, I find my Bose X and A20 clip or skip the first syllable of every sentence I transmit. I have tried to adjust the squelch but no luck. Maybe I am doing that wrong. Any suggestions or comments would be great.

Does anyone else find the daytime glare on the G1000 distracting? Any solutions to cut down the glare other than wear a dark shirt??

My Yaesu Aviator Pro (?model 100)has a 7 1/2 inch rubber antenna. Works great but circular cracks are forming. Someone suggested dipping it in that liquid rubber (think tool handle coating) but I need better advice. Perhaps someone knows what replacement antenna would work as this is an old model?

I've been using a Bose X when flying an Archer or Mooney, Although sooo quiet, I find it is sometimes not as crisp or super clear as I would like. Should I upgrade to the Bose A20? Of course also having Bluetooth would be wonderful with music etc. Could you share any experience and suggestions?
