    Concussion imminent from /headdesking

And I've had a salesman insist I needed to buy that cord for a GAS dryer. :) If the customer calls in for the address, give them the address -- and maybe any verbal directions that help them find the place where the GPS might fall short if you're in that kind of place.

    Firefox for iOS?

I use ForeFlight, so I usually wait for them to do their testing of new iOS versions and report all-clear on their blog before letting my devices update, which they've done for 9.3.3. When I'm not using Safari, I use Chrome, not Firefox.

[NA] Do you use a home warranty?

You have no say in how they repair something or what they replace it with, and if you're in an emergency situation (no water or no A/C on a 95 degree day) they don't really hurry to get to you either. So, if you're planning on being in the house for a long time and want to make quality repairs...

    Howdy (and a story)

Definitely. I was actually in an Arrow with an instructor going up for complex endorsement training when this happened. In addition to the usual GUMPS check, he preached checking gear on base and on final, something he picked up in the military.

    Port Aransas, Texas

Staying at Amelia's Landing is something on my todo list that I haven't managed to pull off yet. After reading this thread, I think I need to add "...and meet Jay" to that line item.

    1st time at Oshkosh!

Not in the cards this year. My first time was last year though, and it was awesome. Y'all have fun!

    Howdy (and a story)

Got my private license last November, working on the 2nd hundred hours now. Joined a flying club. Having a great time! Here's the most adrenaline I've felt while still sitting on the ground: A couple months ago I was working on a complex rating, finished the run up near 17L, and watched a...
