Agree with HHR. I fly out of TOA, and work for LAX - doubt I'll ever land here. In 15 years I can count the "normal" GA aircraft I've seen on the runways or south side facilities without taking my shoes off :)

Landed there a few times just to do it. Like to have all the airports in the area of Torrance. Except the one I work for :)
Garmin Pilot, a Socata weight and balance app, a few weather apps. Have a checklist app, only use it occasionally. Fun little app called NRST that finds the nearest airport.

About once a month I hit In-N-Out for lunch. I'm at the NW corner of LAX, they're just down the street at the NE corner. Always packed. They actually opened another one down Sepulveda in El Segundo.
I haven't put a VHF/UHF in my last two vehicles. All the traffic seems to me moving to linked systems, IRLP, EchoLink - which I find as enticing as cell phone texting :(
