Actually you were. You mention "EAA chapter's" and "kits". While there are EAA members who are not building an E/AB aircraft, you specifically mention kits. If this doesn't address experimental aircraft, then what non-Experimental aircraft are a kit that is assembled???

Since you want to be pedantic... E/AB aircraft don't get an "annual inspection". They get an "annual condition inspection". But even if we let that go, using your view, there would be almost no E/AB aircraft since they all require some level of assembly at the airport before they can fly...

Say what? If there were more weight on the nose gear, why do Long-EZ's have to retract their nose gear when parked so they don't tip back when nobody is in them? And I could lift the nose of my Velocity with one hand. I could never do that on my 182RG.

Fisker made electric cars. IIRC, this was the second company under Henrik Fisker. So he's 0-2 in electric car companies. And a key fob is that thing which some (most now) cars have that let you unlock the car and start it.

Even without all that other stuff, one of the things my first instructor told me is "Don't get in a hurry. That's how you miss something." I'm sure that during my training I took a ridiculous amount of time working my way through that Run-up checklist.

I don't know details about every kit, but I assumed that all of them had some parts that where built/fabricated by the company which would be difficult to reproduce. On the Velocity, the fuselage halves, windows and spars, for example. So I'm guessing that on the RV's you can order spars from...
