I've looked everywhere I can think of but can't find it. Can someone point me to the NOTAM that says what times the airport will be closed for arrivals and departures daily during the airshows. I have the arrival and departures procedures NOTAM but it's not listed in there. Thanks.:)

I'm going to look at a Super Decathlon tomorrow that has a low time (260) SMOH. Can you learn anything about an engine from a one time oil analysis. I was thinking about asking for an oil sample and having it checked.

How many inches of vacuum are required for vacuum instruments to work correctly? I'm having some trouble with a DG that was just installed in January (it was an overhauled exchange). I'm showing about 4.7" on the guage. For some reason I thought it was over 5" a few months ago.

My buddy bought the Lowrance 2000C at SNF for $647. Now after using it on a trip I want one. The best price I can find is $714 on e-bay through Pacific Coast Avionics. Does anyone know of someone selling it for less than $700?

Nothing says friendly airport like the airport dog. They are the official welcoming committee at many airports. Post pictures of your favorite airport dog. The first is Scooter, 46A. The second is Oscar, FQD. There's also a golden at FQD but I didn't see him yesterday.

Does anyone know the status of SERFI (SouthEast Regional FlyIn)? Their website ( www.serfi.org ) still has last years info on it and it doesn't show up on EAA's calandar of events for 2007.
