    Is Crazed Pilot a Scam?

A lot of assumptions are being made that we didn't communicate with the customer, which is inaccurate - our helpdesk system tracks all of our emails per customer, so I went and reviewed the entire exchange with this customer step by step to make sure we're keeping up our level of customer...

    Is Crazed Pilot a Scam?

Hi guys, I'd like to address a few of the questions and incorrect statements, and clear up the confusion. This issue had been escalated to me from support, so I know the backstory. The original poster ordered a set of CRAZEDpilot ANR headsets for Airplanes. The problem was, like almost every...

Crazed Pilot in the ear headset

Glasses will always give difficulty when sealing ANR headsets - if you can invest in the 'spatula' style sunglasses tips that will help. Good luck with our in-ear headsets and ANR headsets, we appreciate you guys as customers. -Brendan

Is a Tailwheel Endorsement worth it?

I'm sure it makes them a better 'pilot of the aircraft' but does not make their decision making skills any better certainly... Anyone who had advanced knowledge of the rudder and can slip it, forward stick it, and work all their eyes hands and feet at the same time does indicate that (if...

    How long for tailwheel endorsement?

I think there's a shorter answer - the time you require will be based on three things: 1. Your insurance requirements (mine did require 10 dual) 2. Your currency in other aircraft 3. your general aptitude with the rudder and your hand foot coordination related to it I could 'fly' a taildragger...

    First tailwheel time!

Congrats Scott!!!! Welcome to the joy! Nice plane choice too! I am unortunatley going to be selling my taildragger at some point in the near future so it's a little sad to give that up but we've purhcased a Saratoga for a larger family cruiser that replaced it while the baby grows up so we can...

    Tailwheel training completed.

Congrats on the endorsement. Tons of fun - SQUIRLY - that is the best description of tailwheel landings in windy conditions. The 'flying' is the easy part :)

How about this for tail wheel training?

'Skids' start to imply it's acceptable tag the wingtips. dragging wingtips should only be done by pro airshow performers :)

    When to Begin Tailwheel Training?

The original answer: YESTERDAY would have been the best time to get your tailwheel! I would recommend choosing the aircraft with the best visibility in landing configuration would be your best place to start. Seeing over MOST of the nose on takeoff will make you feel more comfortable. Once...

    Tail wheel lesson/spin training

Simtech you should share the video - nothing like watching and learning from others. I've got a lot of tailwheel time, but no spin training - it's on the list :)

    Tailwheel landing tips

The 'wagging tail' is a definitely excellent move to wake up the feet on final - especially if you're tired or not current in your taildragger! Another point I'd comment on - the landing on the tailwheel first isn't the greatest idea, that's pretty hard on that tailwheel. For me that's an...

Cessna 185 instruction or tailwheel endorsement

Sounds like a perfect solution! Ohh, and a perfect Aircraft! Jealously has set in, I wish I had a 185, I could use the extra two seats over our two seater bush plane....

PIREP: Tailwheel Endorsement at 5G Aviation, Orange County (KSNA)

Sounds like a paid ad ;) Is that the joke you are referring to Silvaire? Seems like there's gotta be millions of taildragger instructors in California. I have no sympathy - try rural Montana or something and then complain about the lack of instructors. :)

    Started Tailwheel Training Today

Excellent you have those habits already formed! When you throw 850's or 26" or 31" Alaska Bushwheel shoes onto a plane it becomes a requirement as you see nothing but prop until you have the guts to start doing forward stick tail lifts on takeoff roll etc. That's when the run really begins in...

what is the advantage of a tailwheel plane?

I'd still say the best part of tailwheel is answering that 'how do you see over the nose' question with 'you don't'. Then you just tell them you feel for the landings with your peripheral vision. If you put on Tundras the visibility gets much worse - but you can always fix it with a big bush...

Funny, no one congratulated you on buying a home with a hangar and airstrip! That's the rare part of this equation, and very valuable! You lucky kids you!!!!
