What device do you have? Where is it that you are trying to enter your email address in the app?

Garmin Pilot for Android -- Tech Support, Tips, Tricks

Regarding the A/FD problem: The issue appears to be related to the fact that you viewed the A/FD "a la carte" before downloading the region from Downloads. If you had downloaded the A/FD region from downloads before viewing the A/FD at a particular airport, then it will probably work. (To get...

Garmin Pilot for Android -- Tech Support, Tips, Tricks

Currently, the account created in GP is not connected or related to the MyGarmin account you would create on the Garmin website (there is no sharing of information between the two systems), so there is no reason to keep them the same (other than convenience). GP doesn't support moving the chart...

Garmin Pilot for Android -- Tech Support, Tips, Tricks

Garmin knows about that bug. A couple questions - Do you have lots of waypoints? Did you try to make a fresh route from the Flight Plan screen?

Go into Home->Flight Plan and create a fresh new route. All the waypoints showed up as soon as I typed the first airport identifier.

Yes. Syn Vis in Garmin Pilot is unlocked if you're connected to a GDL 39 3D, regardless of whether you have purchased the IFR or VFR premium upgrade.

    Garmin Pilot 5.2.0 question

A couple things to try: - You definitely need to be moving. Actually, you need to be 'flying', meaning that you need to be above 40kts. You know you're flying when a route leg is active (magenta). - You also need an aircraft configured under Settings->Aircraft (this is where it would get the...

Garmin Pilot for Android -- Tech Support, Tips, Tricks

What airdale said. You should never auto-update a mission-critical app like GP. (Especially if you aren't going to make sure it's working before leaving the house.) Regarding the loss of GDL 39 Radar - If you don't see radar and think there should be some, try to force-stop the app and...

Garmin Pilot for Android -- Tech Support, Tips, Tricks

Unfortunately it looks like user waypoints are blown away with the latest release. Anyone who hasn't upgraded may want to wait until a point release comes out with a fix. Regarding sync - there isn't a way to associate your account with flygarmin on Android. However, it does sync all your...

Jonesy - does it work any better if you delete and reinstall? (I know it can be a PITA to download all the charts again, but worth trying.)

Garmin Pilot for Android -- Tech Support, Tips, Tricks

There's a new version of Garmin Pilot for Android Release notes for Version 2.3.0: - Airport Browser has been updated (completely reworked) - Improved downloads section now contains separate maps for current and next cycles (like the iPad version) - Added Nav bar to full-screen...

Garmin Pilot for Android -- Tech Support, Tips, Tricks

Are you installing over top the old version, or deleting the app first? If you install over top, it should retain most all of your settings (including how the nav bar was set up). It stays the same for me.

    iPad vs. Nexus 7

Make sure you've created a Garmin Pilot account on your iPad (in GP, under Settings->Subscriptions). Once you're logged in, just use that same username/password to log into Garmin Pilot on the Nexus.

    Garmin Pilot 2.1.0 Update

FSX Gold Edition works great with the exact setup you're describing (Tablet + BT + Garmin Pilot). I have done this many times. You need FSUIPC4 installed in FSX to send the location info out a COM port. FYI - There was a Garmin Pilot update (2.1.4) for Android released yesterday.
