Oh, also, Roboform is a great multi-platform tool for storing usernames/passwords (and other stuff) securely. With all of the accounts I have with unique passwords, I couldn't live without it.

Getting a into a good backup routine is helpful for these cases. I root my device and use Titanium Backup, but for those who don't want to bother with root access, you can use an app called Helium Backup to backup your settings, accounts, apps, data.

The S4 is a great phone; best I've ever owned by far (coming from the Galaxy Nexus) - It does indeed support wireless charging, though I don't really have much use for that feature. As a bonus, the S4 battery is excellent.

Verizon Wireless 4.2.2 -- Interesting, but not surprising. Funny enough, the wife and kids' S3s all have looping homescreens.

I use Chrome, but I just tested in Firefox and IE and both behaved the same way. Putting in: "GDL-39" "passkey" Resulted in the hits I got above. I quoted GDL-39 so that the "-" wouldn't be misinterpreted, and putting quotes around passkey turned it into an AND query per the URL I posted above.

Do you have something else you can try pairing it with to see if you get a different result? Phone, laptop, older N7? Sorry if you've tried stuff stuff already, just trying to help troubleshoot. Roddie

Jay, Can you put the GDL-39 in pairing mode before trying to pair on the N7? Does it go to that mode? Do you have the serial cable for the GDL-39 and something to connect it to? This might be an alternative way to upgrade to the latest release. I don't have one, but I'm just going...

I was never able to get a reliable a GPS lock with my N7 in Cessna 152/172s, no matter how I positioned it, so I use an External GPS myself. No overheating issues.

I don't disagree, and will re-up if I don't find anything by the 3rd, but $30 is $30! :-) I only fly once a month or so, so it's really only top of mind when someone replies to this thread.

Jay - I'm in the same boat with my subscription expiring on August 3rd. I sat and looked at the "$49.99 special" for months and kept putting it off. Let me know if you find a new special somewhere.

What airdale said. On the plus-side, the app doesn't start on a widely zoomed out map anymore. It's been doing that for the last couple of versions on both my tablet and phone.
