    My first instructor and I did not click well...actually not at all. I felt I was owed a gift in addition to my solo...I was shocked that I didn't have a gift waiting upon my third landing :-)

    I happen to have a plane booked for the 22nd. If we decide on that date, I will grace you all with my presence. I flew into Palo Alto yesterday. A few scattered clouds but that was about it. The marine layer looked pretty thick to the N/W.

    Thanks for the suggestions. I'll take another look at the chart. I'm not all that crazy of having a really long water segment so maybe one of those corridors or overflight of the bravo would be better.
