Thick black sticky residue under my wing.

Looks like grease. Possibly some thing was over greased, maybe in the wheel struts? Did you recently have maintenance done?

KRBD - Dallas Executive Airport thread... Started May 2024

Is that Doc or Fifi in the hangar? I thought one was in Addison and the other at Fort Worth.

    Multiple Recent ATC Errors...Why?

Seems to be the same reason there are so many maintenance problems - new graduates being put on the front lines too soon with not enough experience and little oversight. At least that's my impression.

Which airplanes are you most excited about potentially being available in US under MOSAIC / mLSA rules?

Expected date for implementation is now pushed out to early-mid 2025, which probably means November. Don’t get too excited about those new airplanes yet.

First plane? Archer, Arrow, etc. any recommendations

Another way of saying this is that the annual is 2k and you may also have maintenance on top of that. That's why you should be saving some every month.

Like cyberpunk people. You know, if we all generated enough power, you could live your whole life in a simulation and never know it.

Interesting. Is it be actively discussed in serious scientific circles by people who want to implement humans as batteries?

Tennessee Senate passes bill outlawing Chemtrails

It isn't contrails. There have been recent conversations about spraying things into the atmosphere in order to lower the temperature of the earth to control climate change. Given that we don't have the sophistication of the science to understand how to control it and the cost of getting it...

Commander N965BC Crashes in Icing Conditions 13 Apr 2024 in San Bernadino Mountains

I flew out of LA on Sunday. Unusually crappy weather in the area on Sat/Sunday. Predicted snow level was between 3500 and 5500, not sure what the actual was. I remember looking up at the San Gabriel mountains north of Ontario on Saturday afternoon thinking it was not a day to fly. Sad

Alec Baldwin shoots and kills cinematographer.

If you're talking about military, that's a little different because military exercises aren't restricted by state law. But still if you were reckless or careless, you would expect ucmj proceedings. I don't believe any civilians operate at the same standards.
