    Cox email moving to Yahoo?

Why? Gotta be cost savings for them. Frontier just did the same thing earlier this week to their customers. Pro tip, log into your account and make sure you setup recovery phone numbers and other email addresses for the account.

New to tent camping, need ideas for possible Sun n fun

One failure when it comes to tie downs, which I believe Aviation Consumer pointed out in one of their tie-down shootout/reviews, is people don't RTFM for their tie-down system. For instance, the Claw is to be used as a straight pull directly under the tiedown point, not off to the side or...

My apologies as you're a fellow aviator and we've not yet met in person, but I'd not be a true Redbird if I didn't sneak in a Buck Fradley!

    Reel mower for taller grass.

From watching the Lawn Care Nut & GCI Turf on Youtube, it seems that reel mowers are used for short cut grasses and not recommended for anything above 3". Probably why you can't find one capable of a taller cut. I think St. Augustine grass is in the same category as Bahia/tall fescue/some...

California FBOs Told To Stop Selling 100LL, Switch To G100UL

Anybody else see the Swift CEO's swipe at Gami's fuel in the comments of the AvWeb article? At least that's how I read it. An interesting angle on the legalities. And I don't think this is the first time he's badmouthed Gami publicly either.

Be careful here. Do not assume all Class D towers have a radar/traffic feed. As far as I know my local Class D tower does not have a traffic feed. My tower doesn't usually voluntarily offer a freq change for VFR departures at the Class D boundary, at least not that I've heard in some time...

Good on you. I'm an ashamed sheep. I only let mine soak for a couple weeks before I completed it online. I should have sent it via USPS with another kind of brown stain on it.

Is Dan Gryder the biggest asset to aviation on youtube?

Also 1. Always act like you're in a hurry. "Ahhhh I gotta get outta here" & 2. Never miss a chance to work your ****ty attempt at music covers into the videos for no reason. And of course use a banjo, anything else wouldn't be annoying enough.

Do "hot spots" work well enough to rely on for an Ipad?

As mentioned be aware of your provider's fine print when it comes to doing it. Most carriers give you a limited amount of data on tethering/mobile hotspots and/or deprioritize the data/slow it down after X amount of data is used. Unlimited is often not so unlimited when you read the fine print...

    Cell phone carriers

Sounds like the regular TMHI plan isn't available at your new location so you got the less advertised Lite plan with the data cap. I got on TMHI when it was $50/month a bit before they raised it to $60. There was a deal last year where they were offering it for $30/month. That ****ed off a lot...

    Cell phone carriers

I hear you. It's weird with TMHI when you're not also a cellular customer with them. I've been fighting for 9 years to get decent enough Cellular internet service at our house, via Verizon mostly. Frontier DSL is useless here. Tmobile home internet, knock on wood, has been the bright spot so...

    Oshkosh Group (Airplane) Camping?

To me those folks belong in GAParking not GACamping. Why take up a GAC space if you're not GAC'ing? You'd think to discourage that it would be cheaper to GAP than GAC but I've never looked into it. Had a guy parked right next to me in a prime row behind the green shower house 2 years ago use GAC...
