    any alaskan pilots?

I'm up here workin a turnaround and around nikiski (I think that's the spelling) I see two small "airfields". The "runway" looks like about a hundred yard long mudhole. I have respect for anyone landing on that crap. Of course I wanna be a bush pilot when I finish training so I suppose I should...

life is beginning to get interesting...

Well guys, looks like its time to start growing up. At 19, iv been out of highschool for less than a year, and collage wasn't for me. I mulled around for a while trying to figure out what to do with myself. Recently my best friend mentioned aviation, mostly as a hobby or something to look good...

Creative ways to finance Flight Training

    first flight

It was really cool. I'm 19 years old so I'm gettin an early start I think. Workin in chemical plants to pay for flying lessons. I'd like to be able to fly for a living. I'm also 6ft5, 338 pounds so its just a little cramped in the little warrior. And I have to fly with a very light instructor...

    first flight

Went to fly by knight here in hammond louisiana. Never been in a plane before. My first time was in a piper warrior with a 12mph wind gusting to 20 and I had full controll of the aircraft from engine start to cut off. Absolutely amazing, terrifieing, and addicting. I think I'm in love with it. :)
