    Arrow II flight planning/fuel burn

set the fuel flow at 10GPH when above 3000', and open the throttle to full and pull it back just a hair. If that puts you above 24/24 pull throttle and prop back to 24/24. Plan on 130 knots groundspeed.

    Amelia Earhart’s Long-Lost Plane Found?

    Internal engine pre-heater--opinions?

I just ferried an Arrow 800 miles in sub-freezing temps, including an overnight stop. I used a "twin hornet" engine heater each time. The engine started easier than a summer day each time.

    Workshop insulation

Just wear a hat. If you are moving around you will generate enough heat. I did this in Texas for years on my Velocity.

    Garmin Legacy Units

Avidyne owns the rights to the 430 backplate. Don't know how this happened. That's why the IDF can slide right into the existing backplate and replace a Garmin. It's also why Garmin's newer navigators require a DIFFERENT backplate - they know people are sliding in Avidyne units to replace their...

Apollo was 257 billion in 2020 adjusted dollars According to Musk, SpaceX has spent 10 billion so far on Starship since 2012. Where do you think Starship would be right now if they had spent literally 25x that over the same period?
