I know they fly them (Light, pre and post MX, as well as similarly light 737's and 767's) at my home drome. I've seen them get off in 3000 ft, I'd guess. Don't remember if it was a 37, 57 or 67. CRAZY climb angle once they get rolling....

I've got 6 and a BMW station wagon. That keeps the right tank on my RV7 fed pretty easily (60 gals is 3 fillups (of the right tank). I keep the Left tank at about 10 gal of 100LL, Take-off and land with that, and use it for XC's that the Right tank can't stretch to.

Everybody is saying "it could go tomorrow, or it could go to 3000 hours" and that's true. But if the compression are really 70 right now, it's gonna need a top overhaul at some point in the next few years, esp if you don't fly a ton. Just make sure that's priced in.

Been to Grand Bahama several times via commercial. Never met anyone that wasn't awesome, helpful, friendly, etc. But we went to the east end (or halfway there) immediately. My parents stayed in Freeport a few times and never had a bad experience.
