The camera software can remove the pole from the video so it's not seen. Pretty neat stuff, my android phone can actually remove the propellor from photos and it works really well.

What is the Bear callsign? Googled a bit but didn't see anything on it.

    Ford F150 with a 3.5 L turbo and the 3.31 rear.

I had an '04 with the 5.4L before my current 2016. It made it to 235k miles before I had to replace the phasers, also changed the spark plugs and didn't have a single one break. My '16 has 128k miles on it and hasn't had a single issue (knock on wood)

I'm not sure exactly what the difference would be. I'm sure there is some added weight with the king ranch package, but I wouldn't expect that much. I know they didn't offer the max tow or max payload with 20" rims in the past, not sure about newer ones. Mine is a 2016

    Ford F150 with a 3.5 L turbo and the 3.31 rear.

Optioned pretty well and 4x4. It's actually one of the higher optioned XLTs you could get when I bought it. I've only got the 23 gallon fuel tank though. It's in the options that I gained too. The towing package, rear end locker and GVWR increase is where I got my good payload. There is...

    Ford F150 with a 3.5 L turbo and the 3.31 rear.

I agree, I'd never pull a 10k trailer far, maybe some back roads for a few miles across town or something. It does pull and stop really well though, I want to say my MIL's trailer is in the 7k lb range and the truck has absolutely no issues pulling or stopping it.

    Ford F150 with a 3.5 L turbo and the 3.31 rear.

Looked it up this weekend. I have 2050lbs payload on my XLT supercrew with 3.31 and 3.5 ecoboost 4x4. The 7000# GVWR is an upgrade though with the 3.31 electonic lock rr axle

Don't have the numbers with me at the moment, but I've looked at it before and I was legal even with all the stuff I had in the truck.

    Ford F150 with a 3.5 L turbo and the 3.31 rear.

Just figured I'd add a little of my experience to the thread. I have a 2016 F150 XLT 3.5l EcoBoost with the 3.31 rear end and tow a 20' fiberglass walleye boat that is probably around 4500-5000#. It tows absolutely wonderfully, no problem with big hills or getting up to speed, I get about...

What was the first aviation related book that you read?

I think "The Greatest Flying Stories Ever Told" by Lamar Underwood or "Noel Wien: Alaska Pioneer Bush Pilot" by Ira Harkey. Both great books...

I agree. Nothing wrong with a legal straight in and as you said, could be necessary in some cases. But he was way above landing or pattern speed from what I've read on the airplane in question. Something was way off on that straight in.

You are correct there. I place a heavier blame on a 180kn straight in final with traffic in the pattern though. 1 made a mistake, 1 was off the rails.

    Aviation Goals for 2022

Missed the states with I in them, but I did add GA. I did fly more, but still not as much as I wanted. Home/hangar/airplane is still in planning stages, but making a little progress. I did manage to spend a bunch of time with my family and took my 6 year old daughter flying a bit. It was a...
