I went the route of the Casper Mattress. Delivered in a Box to my door. I love it and I have had some friends buy it as well with no complaints. I think they do a 100-day trial and if you don't like it they will come get it.

Do you have an example SID that this situation could occur? I don't think you would ever be issued a climb VIA SID in that situation but if I was then I would just remind the controller of my final alt.

So, the FBO at DTS is at the end of 32 and 14 would have been the long way. I don't see the issue really and they made the decision to use 32.

I flew lots of kids when I was in CAP. They don't have any issues with it. I had heard about the teacher thing--not sure of the details though.

Agreed--normal. Write those things down and look back on them when you are a private or higher and read what you were thinking. I wish I had done that.

Never used lyft but I have used UBER all of the country with good luck. Even did a short stint driving uber.... that's a different thread!

Does the MadDog have fuel dump?? I remember flying the convairs we would brief how long to dump if we had a failure on takeoff.

Oh, I love all airline (non-pilot) employees who know how to fly the airplanes better then the front seaters. Having worked as a mechanic at the airlines and listening to the mechanics complain about pilots and then working as a pilot and hearing them complain about the mechanics... sigh**...

Like others have said--it depends. Depends what you consider a good deal. Money wise it doesn't seem like a great deal, but if you are only 1 of 3 partners and the plane is always available for you to use on trips and overnights... that is worth something. It can be hard to do those things...

IIFC that year has the purple glue issue.. right? Something to look out for.
