I've landed there numerous times and it is a great experience, especially the town's winter carnival. Sadly it did not freeze over last year but we have high hopes this season:

Hampton Airfield (7B3) offers the best in small New England airports... both grass and paved runways and the excellent Airfield Cafe. The crowd is very friendly and there is usually tail wheel training to watch as you eat lunch.
I suggest flyers in the Northeast make a summer trip to Basin Harbor, Vermont (B06). The Red Mill restaurant is on the field, adjoining the resort on the shore of Lake Champlain. The runway is 3,000 by 90 feet of beautiful grass.
