    Fuel reserve?

yes, started from totally full, but w 49 knots in the face and an all day flight ahead, one trlends to fly balls to the wall.. the last fifty miles were totally lean and about 2100 rpm… took about an hour of looking for short field landing spots. And yes, fuel totalizer going in next week…

    Fuel reserve?

Thanks Domeneck. Got into an incredible headwind in a cross country flight and only one fuel gauge kinda sorta working. No good place to refuel and ended up putting in 47.2 gallons. Your numbers and tip w the fuel selector management are most helpful. -dan

Where can I find a connector for this TC?

Hello. Looking high and lo for a connector for an S-Tec 6405-14L Turn Coordinator. It has a round, 5-pin threaded connector. A guess for installation?

Still big numbers… I think the key is to find a shop where they’ve installed a lot of these… trutrak or trio… as installation is more than half of the total job cost.

    A guess for installation?

Hello. Could someone give me a good idea of cost to install. Trio autopilot in a Cessna 172 D. Gps is a Garmin 175. Airplane has a constant speed prop so a little heavier on the nose if that’s a factor. Would appreciate some coaching on the hours. Thanks

need some advice on "dual lock" closures for my airplane

Hello. Bought about three types of velcro and thy all failed. Issue isn't the velcro, it's the glue that holds the material in place. Airplane of course gets really hot in the hangar, and the glue just can't take it, and releases. I've read here that there's a heavy duty dual lock closure, and...

engine without logs still a viable core?

it has an oil analysis doc with it. maybe that'll help. Otherwise I've gotta go engine shopping.

engine without logs still a viable core?

no, it's an old Cont o-300... I just don't want to throw good money after bad... and I don't know what to do with this engine as to whether to have it overhauled, or buy another core that has logbooks. It has a data tag

engine without logs still a viable core?

thanks for reply Ron. sounds like an overhaul is in in order. Engine could probably be topped, but it'd still have no logs, except maybe for the one new entry for cylinders.

    Cockpit CO monitor mount

just me probably, but velcro adhesive seems to give up the ghost every time I try to use it in an airplane. hot weather just makes the glue into a messy slurry... then it lets go.

engine without logs still a viable core?

Hello. Looking at an airplane with an engine without logs. Is the engine still valuable as a core? And can it be overhauled and a new logbook established by the engine shop? Coaching appreciated!

Fuel check valve in a 210

Wow. That helps a lot and I appreciate your getting back with me. I’m trying to find the part because my a&p stays up to his eyeballs busy. If I’ve got the part laying on the seat he can get me in and out quickly… and he’ll get er dun. Thanks again for the knowledgeable information. -dan
