How about only one sticky, "How to search" it's just a link to Google with a site:pilotsofamerica.com at the end
So you added sport pilot SES onto your private cert? It would have never occurred to me to do that.
Sounds like you have your first "next job" figured out. At least the scope of the work, if not the solution.
So your theory is that the DPE is in this for the money?
What **** software are you using to study with?
It is only double if you do it in the same number of hours (time) in the twin, as you would in the single.
I have yet to see that happen. It is...
I'd just point out, that just because a DPE barely makes his yearly requirement. Doesn't really mean that he is available. Many of our local DPE's...
The FAA shouldn't be involved in pricing at all. And I would argue shouldn't be limiting the supply of DPE's either, which they currently do.
If it wasn't for that day job, you could get to work in a hurry.
What would you suggest as an alternative?
Back when Checks were a thing, no DPE in their right mind would accept one.
Now we have credit cards...
I'm just saying, that there are checkrides that happen where applicants apply without the required pre-requisites for the rating. Actually it...
Right, that couldn't be a requirement because there are Multi pilots out there without IFR ratings. Those could obviously be taught by Multi...
I've read it plenty. What exactly are you trying to argue here?
Just because it has happened, doesn't mean that it is right/legit.
How often are the signing off CFI's credentials actually checked for anything?
They aren't letting people do "VFR only Multi ratings" anymore, if the pilot already has Instrument Airplane and Single Engine Land.
15 PIC, no problem. get it done. Might as well spend the last 5 hours "Teaching" anyway
Nice Job Mike, now buzz around a bit to get your PIC time and do your MEI.
I think we should be able to put other peoples threads into here, anyone logged in.. Think of the fun.
Just IFR it up to OK and do the checkride, then fly back in :)
Sure it will, just put a turbo on it. :)
