    So many pilots have foreflight, but seems no one likes updating airport info in the comments section. Fees, runway and taxiway conditions, whether or not tie downs are available, etc. If you go in foreflight and so many airports comments are years old.

    Think about all the features, and how many do you actually use. I find a large majority of foreflight, I don’t use those features.

    Why do we switch fuel tanks before landing?

    Long Island crash about a year ago. Piper was out doin maneuvers, in base, lost its engine. One tank was almost full, the other bone dry. If he would have switched they wouldn’t have made the news.

    Just curious if you all arguing about being 500 feet below the clouds maintain the 2000 feet horizontal at all times without asking for SVFR? That’s pretty significant distance to be always from the clouds.
