Pilot With No Arms

Not sure if this was posted before. If so I apologize.

This is pretty amazing, especially for anyone who thinks they can't fly. I'm just not sure how she does a X-Wind landing!

She usually flies an Ercoupe (as shown), which has no rudder pedals (ailerons are linked mechanically to rudders). Ercoupes also have simple trailing-link (swiveling) mains so that they can be landed in xwind conditions without applying opposite rudder to align the nose.
It works pretty well, up to a point... even if one is flying with their feet!
I think she also chose the 'coupe because the low wing, sliding canopy, and bench seat make it easier for her to enter and egress (she does it all herself, including the seat belt).
I've heard that Jessica plans to transition to something else soon... probably will have hand controls for rudder and brakes. Any other plane would be tricky for her, but I think she'll figure out how to deal with it.
 
This would be good to show to students. "Now if she can land, I know you can!"
