I am a green card holder and considering buying a plane. Does anyone here have experience with the process? FAA says the following in their aircraft registration eligibility:

"A non-U.S. citizen corporation organized and doing business under the laws of the U.S. or one of the States as long as the aircraft is based and primarily used in the U.S. (60% of all flight hours must be from flights starting and ending within the U.S.)"

But I am not sure how and where to start the process. The other option is to register the aircraft under my own name, but I would prefer to set up a corporation/LLC instead.

Thank you! Any idea how much does it typically cost set up a trust? Will there be any ongoing costs?
