Magnesium and stainless. Mag polishes up nicely, but corrodes quickly and shine goes away. Sucks to weld. Built up some one off 1930's brake calipers a while back.

Oh man, lots of haters on this thread. I recommend y'all stay far away from Airventure, and especially warbirds. Obsessing over the "total package" (clothes, camp, food, language, social structure) are not exactly scarce things amongst aviators.
