Didn't realize this thread existed, so here's a couple from my last few flights. First 2 are Pittsburg on my first trip to a Class B field. (Sorry Southwest 2384, I was the "slow mover" that got you a less desirable runway. Winds at 8kts offset 40 degrees, I'm sure he didn't mind too much!)

Took advantage of the first day of spring to knock the rust off my tailwheel flying. Boring video mostly meant for my own performance analysis, but it was a nice day. Citabria 7ECA Merrill-Goose Bay-Birchwood-Merrill in the Anchorage, Alaska area.

 
Recently flew Chicago -> Kansas City -> Nashville and back. Some pics from the trip…

North end of Kentucky Lakes on our way to Nashville. Just after this we were vectored around an area that was NOTAM’d near Fort Campbell for a “Sunday Civilian Rocket Club Launch”. Apparently they go pretty high so the area is NOTAM’d to 10k feet!

Caught nice thermals on departure- at 200lbs under max gross, climb power (25” a 2400rpm), and temps approx 20c… I was seeing 1500fpm!
(This was the best pic we could get… it was rough and my poor wife was a trooper for taking pics at all!)

Does your P100 feel pokey after flying the P300? The mustang feels like a dog after flying the CJ3+…
 
I have really fallen in love with grass, been looking for more grass strips near me to explorer.

No better stips than grass. I love grass a ton. Maybe sometime we should meet up and fly into OH66, it's narrow, but quite long and a private airport community. We just bought property there in December and will hopefully be building a house an buying a plane in the somewhat near future.
 
I should try a grass landing sometime.

Too bad I live in an area where rocks out grow grass.. :lol:

First flight after annual. Feels good to be back in the air again.

I love the Phenom 100! It is a great airplane for most of my flying. The panel, systems and cockpit are almost identical to the 300 and the handling is very similar. The big difference is when you push the throttles forward. The 100 is a bit sluggish compared to the 300 and the 300 climbs like a rocket! If you have an early level off, you need to be on your game and pull throttles back fast.

I love the versatility of the 300, in that you can take it at Mach .74 across the country with one stop. The 100 requires two and takes a bit longer to make the trip. However, I still do it when it makes sense to do so.

In a perfect world, I would have a Phenom 300 for my business and personal travel, but until then, I am really enjoying the experience of the Phenom 100.

Thanks. That sounds about right from what I know about the Phenoms. I have no left seat time in them because I’m too tall to fit but have chartered a P300 a few times and it’s a lovely cabin and performer. One of my close friends just bought a P100 so I expect I’ll try to shoehorn myself in there for a bit and compare what it’s like to my usual rides (C510 and C525).
 
This past Friday night my buddy and I hit this small turf airport 81I up by Grimes I74 where we had dinner here in Ohio. Actually landed here before and after dinner. My second take off was much better than the first after a scolding I got during dinner from my buddy.

Looking west and into a head wind. It was up hill, very wet, pretty tall bumpy grass and trees at the end of the runway.
I had full fuel tanks and 2 of us which made it important do fly a decent soft field take off.

Looking east which would be good way to take off except for the stiff tail wind this night. We hit it right before dark the second landing. Fun.
