Checkmark in a circle?

A few threads on the Recent and the New Posts Forums show a checkmark in a black circle just left of the Replies column. What does this symbol mean? I can't find an explanation anywhere on POA.

Pretty sure that denotes threads you are subscribed to...ie threads you have responded to or clicked ”watch thread" and receive notifications for

It means it's a watched thread. Either because you explicitly clicked "Watch Thread" on it or you set the "automatically watch threads I reply to" in the account preferences.

And if you hover your mouse over it, a tooltip pops up saying, "watched".

It means if you happen to click on that thread, you are now on the NSA watch list.
