Does anyone know the official name or part number of this? Mine officially went out on me yesterday and am in the middle of IFR training so looking for one to swap out since getting new electronic one is probably out of the question with current backlogs.

If it doesn't work pull it out and the exact model number is on it. Doesn't do any good in the plane. Had my turn coordinator fail and had a mid continent overhaul in within a week.

You can get a new replacement from Sigmtek on their trade in program for about the same cost as an overhaul. They can have it to you in a couple of days.

Thx for the info, i wasn’t sure who made it. I will check with Sigmtek.

I would do a G5 but can’t find anyone to install anytime soon. I took vacation to finish my IFR training and have to use it before the end of the year so I would like to get fixed before Dec 8th. I’m sure I could install myself but would need someone to sign off on it but don’t know anyone well enough for that yet so I’m stuck with a swap to at least keep me going.
