Winterization plate in SE

HVAC and duct tape have been mentioned, so a note of caution.
Fabric duct/HVAC tape can leave a residue (at least it does as a patch on my jeans, hammer handles, etc).
The aluminum film version does NOT leave a residue.
 
I couldn't find much info on these cessna 172 block off plates for my N model.
I found one and then a pair. I have all the hardware/tools to install them, just have to get my AP on board to help me.

I will only need them realistically 4-5 times a winter, I just want the option on my plane. I think they are cool because they seem rare around here?

The oil cooler on this cessna is behind the #3 cly. If you block some of it off then more air get's forced down through the engine.
