C150 flipped in storm - KFFZ, Falcon Field, 15-July 2021

We had our plane liberate from its tie down during a “small” tornado that went thru dallas. Minor damage compared to this but a good example of paying attention to the taught-ness of your tie down.
 
Here is another view. This was taken yesterday by my dad. His hangar is in the next row.

Apparently two hangar doors nearby blew in as well.

My plane is tied down less than 100’ from where this 150 came to rest. The elevator hit the pavement, something hit the right aileron and bent the pushrod and the door blew open and broke the stop. Definitely lucky that this didn’t happen though.

The guy really took good care of that 150, with full wing, tail, fuselage covers. Finally, an easy way to clean the belly.
 
Microbursts can do serious damage. I had a twin otter chained down torn right out of the ramp and tilted onto one wing.
