Bo on the interstate

Thankfully there are no serious injuries reported. Looks like the plane is done for though ...
 
Saw this on Beechtalk. Plane never made it above 1500MSL (~700AGL). Not a lot of options in that part of Chicagoland (other than warehouse roofs) - so glad they got it down safely. That plane does look like it hit hard.

That's an A36, unless the Mouse has grown a rear cabin door.
 
Hit hard enough to shear the gear off the mouse. That had to hurt some.

It's a Beech Sierra, not a Musketeer. The gear is retractable and the rear cabin door is on the opposite side from an A36 Bo.

Beech made a 6-place version of the Sierra as an option. The rear door accesses the baggage area, or the rear jump seats, if they are installed.

3 of the 4 passengers are being treated for back injuries, ouch. Glad everyone survived though.
