Anyone had any experience with this company’s engines?

Last year I acquired a plane with an overhauled IO-520 from America's Aircraft Engines with about 260 hours SMOH, which was from ten years ago. A very nice binder, provided by America's Aircraft Engines, documented many of the details of the overhaul. I decided to call them just to get an impression on how competent they seemed (as best one can determine this from a phone call). I was very impressed that they had the original work order and went to the trouble to scan and email all of the documents to me. Perhaps more important, after 10 years and 300+ hours no oil leaks, doesn't use any oil, and compressions are high 70s.

Thanks!
A former student has a Lance that needs o/h.
Their bid came in over 15% less than other bids.
They were 10% less on a bid for my O320.
They even have a core for my engine and will build it for 50% advance.
Appreciate the reply.

The 500hrs SMOH IO-520 in my Bo was rebuilt by them, seemed to run just fine mechanically for the 150hrs I flew it. Well, that is, until a mechanic left a blue paper rag in the crankcase causing oil starvation and a surprise destination in a housing development. Had good compressions, good economy and ran smooth LOP.
