Your post warning others a classified ad is a complete ripoff is against the rules, and is removed so the seller can continue to try to rip off a member.

It's just Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist at that point.

This site protecting rip offs is dumb. It's not funded by by ads for junk and doesn't receive a cut of the sale.

Protecting rip offs isn't what a real community does. Just online junk selling sites who need junk sales to keep the servers paid for.

There's another subtler comment on the post that's also against the rules now, I see. Good.

And commenting on such policy is also a violation of the ROC...

oops...

dang...

time for a vacation....

Folks,

Per the RoC, we ask those who participate in The Classifieds not to comment negatively on the value or quality of an item. This has been a long standing policy of ours and we enforce it.

The Classifieds is not a place for debate. We do not feel that it's appropriate for someone to speak in a negative manner about an item. If you see something listed for sale and you think it's too expensive, show them by not buying it - it’s really that simple.

We also don’t feel like this rule is out of line or unique to Pilots of America, as it closely follows the same rule on BeechTalk and other places.

Best,
Management Council
