GNS 430 Setup Question

Was adjusting the sidetone up a little the other day and fixed that problem, but I was wondering what the mic setting is and running it up or down, does what?

I didn’t see it mentioned in the Garmin Install document.

You can only adjust the GNS 430 side tone on the frequencies of: 118.000, 127.000, and 136.975 MHz.

I would imagine it's the mic gain.

Correct, I adjusted it on the right frequencies. I was just curious on the Mic.
