In my defense, my reason for knowing where it is has nothing to do with being a CFI. If anything, I should be blacklisted for that!

But we won’t blacklist you...we’ll just make sure after you die that you’re buried 12 feet under instead of 6 feet....because we know that deep down, you’re a good person.

Thanks for all the replies. I did Sporty's BFR review course which was pretty good and then went for my flight review. It was not a big deal. I had not logged any time when I was not legal, but did tell him I had continued to fly occasionally without a flight review. He reviewed the regs with me, told me to stay legal, and we went and flew for an hour with no issues.
