Just say what your favorite plane is. If you want, you can even provide a description.

My favorite plane is the Beechcraft Bonanza. It just looks great, and it’s a heckin’ powerhouse.

To honestly answer the question if someone said you can have any plane you want an I'll buy it for you, I'd go with manual wastegate Turbo Twinkie with CR props, and a bump to 360s vs 320s.

Almost within the realm of possibility: Cessna TTX

Unlimited wealth: F4 Corsair

the Cessna 170 It just looks right.

Oooh.. YES! Here's what my "Leno hangar" would have, at the minimum.. only in loose order.. and yes, sorry about the pictures, but a thread like this kind of requires it.. only 10 are allowed so I'll pick the best 10

Each of these would get flown regularly and have their own mission.. but the Aerostar jet and MV1 would get flown the most

Just for looks and pure "I want one" the F-4U Corsair. I've always loved the inverted gull wings and the later versions were faster than a P-51 and (to me) looked way cooler. Plus I've been fascinated with WW2 planes since I was a little kid.

As a more practical matter, I like the Commander 114 or 115. I'd be happy with a C-310 (nice looking twin!).

I am fascinated by the Merlin, and have never been able to explain why. I aspire to own one (or, I suppose, be owned by one)

Always liked the Merlin as well. I like the high stance, roomy, excellent performance. I’m a fan of rare aircraft that are out of production but have dedicated owners. Guy at the local airport has one and gave me a tour. Said he loves the performance but $ are starting to add up maintaining such an old airframe.

Bonanza v35, they are sexy, fast, and I have one sitting in my hangar.

Oh, that's easy!

If I had a CH-47, I could carry a spare airplane:

Or I could hang out at the lake with my boat and not need a trailer:

"Everything Else Is A Slingload."

Ewwww! Oh I hated flying behind them. Kept telling the planning guys “stop scheduling me on Ring Routes with the Chinooks!” Next day, Ring Route following a Chinook. They always seemed to attract unwanted attention.

P-51, both a D model in restored trim, and the Reno version with the clipped wing and all the goodies.
