Charlie Daniels has passed away.

"I dun told you once you son of a [gun], [he was] the best there's ever been" RIP - he was one of the greats.

In addition to his music, let's not forget:

My dad saved his life once.

Did he meet the devil down in Georgia?

May he RIP... :(

Check blood pressure folks, and seek treatment if it is high. Health first.

The devil went down to Georgia but Charlie wasn’t there. I’m sure he was in heaven a half hour before the devil knew he was dead.

RIP

Our company has worked with CDB dozens of time over the years. Charlie was ALWAYS a gracious person and always made time for his fans. His crew is as sharp as a technical crew can get. In the professional audio and lighting production circles, he will be sorely missed as much for his music as his treatment of everyone he came into contact.

One time that really sticks out to me that I personally worked with him was June 17th 2016 in Dunn NC. It was the 80th Anniversary of the the Airborne. William C. Lee, known as the father of the Airborne has a museum n his hometown and Charlie was the featured artist.

I finished the show that night and got on to my Harley and rode home to find my wife in labor with my first child. He was born the next morning at 11:15 a.m. There is hardly a time that when I see his name that I do not relive that whole day, night and next day and smile inside.

I was an honor to know him and to have worked with him.

Back in the 80s my friends and I got season passes to King's Dominion off of I-95 in VA. We saw CDB there. What a great time we had! RIP fiddle player!
