Hi,

I have a question about some avionics concerning a King Air. Some of the documentation talks about a Servoed Electric Gyroscopic Pitch and Bank Indicator and a servoed electric altimeter.

I would like to know what this means and how I can identify is one of these instruments is served.

Thanks

In what context does your documentation use "servoed" or does it actually state "servo-driven" or "servo-assisted"?

Hi,

This was mentioned in an MEL with a deferral not allowed if the still operating instrument was servoed.

The exact term was servoed.

The exact term was servoed.
Without seeing the exact wording, and in general terms, when an instrument is considered "servoed" or "servo-driven" it means there is an external device electrically driving the indicator needles or display mechanism.
