Heading up to Niagra Falls

was thinking of heading up tomorrow for the day to take kids. Never been to Niagra falls.
What is best airport to fly into to be close proximity to the falls? Would probably just Uber over.
 
Let us know how it goes. Short flight from here, but we've never been....

IAG has a flight school and fairly nice to GA. Rent a CFI from there for an hour for help on the Falls tour so,you can sightsee. Then park the airplane and Uber to the falls. Really touristy but it’s The Falls, after all. One of the tribes owns a casino, food was good last time I was there (driving my 86 yo aunt and her cousin).
Or, if you’re ot on Basic Med, land in Canada at St Catharines. Call first for details and info on crossing the border. On second thought, might not be worth it. When we lived there, oh so many decades ago, driving over for lunch was a no brainer. Not anymore.
 
Bring your passport and cross to the Canadian side. That’s the money shot. The U.S. side is impressive.......until you see it from the other side.

Agree 100% - well worth it IME. Looks like today would have been perfect to head up there. It's just over 2.2 hrs from TZR up to IAG. Been wanting to make that trip for several years.
 
I would fly into IAG then cab to the Canadian side. If that’s not possible due to passport issues or whatever, stay on the USA side.
 
Does anyone know if it's possible to load the special flight procedure for Niagara Falls into a ForeFlight flight plan?
