Storms eating more planes

C172L registered to Chestnut Ridge Flying Club Inc. Hopefully it being registered to a flying club increases the chance that they'll get another bird.
Just saw a news interview where they had bought it 8 months ago, and just finished a bunch of upgrades. Assuming by upgrades they meant panel, hopefully they can salvage some of the Garmin gizmos and only be down the labor on that stuff at least.

Also, looks like that plane and hangar both tumbled about 100'.

If it is full insured the plane after it tumbled belongs to the insurance company all the Garmin gizmos everything, if they updated the panel hope the updated their insurance.

Yeah, they'll have to buy back the salvage.

Mother nature has been providing some very mean weather this year.

It's just now getting into "Tornado season" in the Tornado alley states. They've been predicting a more active weather season this year, last year was surprisingly low in terms of overall activity in OK (although we got an enormous amount of rain from March-June last year).
