Would a 100% disabled veteran be tax exempt from the taxes on an aircraft? Example. My home taxes and up to two vehicles are tax exempt as a disabled veteran but I was wondering if I would be exempt from paying taxes on an aircraft. Any information pertaining to this would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hmmm, don't know about taxes, but you may be exempt from being allowed to fly it. Make sure before you spend.

Just like a home and vehicles, an airplane is taxed by your state. So try typing three things into google: name of your state, DOT, aviation

In my state there's no savings if the owner is disabled, but there is a savings if the airplane is not airworthy.

Check your states personal property tax. That's where I pay for my plane.

I would be surprised. Unlike a house and a car, an airplane is a luxury item.

I'm going to go out on a limb (see what I did there) and suggest that he has access to a 100% disabled veteran who is willing to purchase the airplane under his own name for the OP's use.
