Another airport restaurant closes - KLUK this time...

And for those not familiar with the history of LUK, it gave use Embry-Riddle, Aeronica, and one of the predecessors of American Airlines. It also had one of the last AN four-course sites in the country.

Nobody said the plan had to make actual sense. It's Cincinnati city government. If they had any sense their commercial airport wouldn't be in another state for starters. And they just spent millions on a streetcar / light rail to nowhere.
I thought Atlanta had the market cornered on streetcars to nowhere!!:D
We had a great little restaurant at FTY, lots of locals ate there as well as pilots and airport workers. It was in the old tower building, built probably in the 50's, the owner's health got bad and his son or nephew wanted to buy it. The city came in and did the decided it wasn't up to code and refused to issue a new business license. Been vacant ever since, probably 10 years! Not many airports with restaurants anymore. :(

Oh, it goes places. Just not to places people want to go.

For people not in Atlanta. We got a streetcar a few years ago that follows a route that Marta used to have buses do, but canceled the bus route due to lack of riders.
